Membership in The Philadelphia Chapter of The American Guild of Organists

The American Guild of Organists Philadelphia Chapter’s lively concern for education and outreach previously prompted the formation of an Endowment Fund. The purpose of this fund is to expand programs for leadership development among AGO members, educate new organists, and cultivate new audiences for organ and choral music. This fund is prudently administered by the Chapter’s Endowment Committee. Tax-deductible contributions to the Endowment Fund are invested in perpetuity to produce continuing income support for the Chapter’s educational programs and projects. Contributions may be accepted in the form of cash, stocks, bonds, real estate, or other assets. You are also encouraged to consider including the AGO Philadelphia Chapter in your will and bequests. Prior consultation with your financial advisor and/or legal counsel is advised. 		NEW AND RENEWING MEMBERS: Our new membership drive for the 2011-2012 year has begun. The latest 2-page current form reflecting this year’s dues rates is now posted below, and once completed can be sent to the Registrar at the indicated address. All necessary information can be found there, including categories of membership, dues amounts, options for Chapter Patron giving, where to send the form, space for data updates, etc. Please be sure to sign your form. The 2011-2012 year runs from 7/1/2011 to 6/30/2012. If you have questions, please contact the Chapter Registrar, Phillip J. Shade, at 215-723-7907 or at registrar@agophila.org for more information. If at all possible, renewing members are encouraged to use their personalized member forms that were sent to them in the mail, so that all current data contained therein can be easily updated by the Registrar when the corrected form is returned for processing.
